Liverpool can close the gap to Premier League leaders Manchester City to just two points with victory over Merseyside rivals Everton at Anfield.
The Reds are bidding for their 11th league victory in a so far unbeaten campaign but, by Jurgen Klopp’s admission, face the strongest Toffees side of the German’s tenure.
Everton sit sixth going into the game and there is a genuine sense of optimism among Blues that they can spring a surprise at the home of their nearest and dearest.

From a couple of yards, Gomes’ header is fantastically saved by Alisson before Gomez then somehow hooks the ball off the line with Richarlison lurking. Incredible!

Bernard drove forward with the ball down the left wing before slotting the ball inside and into Richarlison. The Brazilian, from inside the box, took the ball beyond Gomez but just slipped before he could get his shot away.

The home side make two changes from their side that beat Watford last time out. Fabinho replaces the suspended Henderson whilst Gomez returns to the defence. Everton, on the other hand, are unchanged from their victory against Cardiff.
